MALAWI Police have arrested sixteen fake passengers

MALAWI Police have arrested sixteen fake passengers (12 men and four women) at Lilongwe Bus Terminal for causing a breach of peace which contravenes section 181 of the Penal Code.

The fake passengers are often paid by drivers to board a bus in order to trick travellers into believing that the bus is close to being full.

THE PLIGHT OF THE EMERGING MIDDLE CLASS- Roland Ofori

THE  PLIGHT OF THE EMERGING MIDDLE CLASS There is a country I know called Umuofia 🤪 The emerging middle class break their backs to work hard everyday. When the month ends, their beloved Government will take up to a third of their salaries as income tax ,but that is not the problem, because tax dieer it is good 🙂 What happens next is the problem: 1. He appears to have monopolised mastery of the script on how to display opulence and set the agenda without opening his mouth. The other day, it was a housewarming. Beyond these occasional outbursts of mixed reactions that greet the periodic showmanship, however, there is a permanent feature in conversations around a certain residential address in Ghana’s capital. Anyone who drives or leads another on a certain street in Accra’s East Legon and does not say, “This is Despite’s house,” must be blind or ignorant of the...
